    Twelve year old girls' three-sizes?

It took me a minute to figure out with that the middle measurement would be, not that that makes it any better. I suppose it’s in the same vein as the business in I, Me, My, Strawberry eggs and its farcical measuring of things, which I’m going to presume is stock ecchi fair rather than anything based on reality. Because I can’t honestly think of any reason why a school would need those sorts of measurements.

I've never seen that anime. But actually, medical checks do involve those kind of measurements. But I had a look at her page on Wiki and there's a VAST amount of information which I really don't need to know about a kid. Presumably this means her info was released publically by her production company or something.

I suppose it’s a means of measuring… development then? Though I’m not sure if I wish I didn’t know that now. As for the information, I suppose it’s one way of catering to a wider market without explicitly saying so but still… Though isn’t there some Japanese girl group where the members only remain members within a certain age range and as long as they don’t have boyfriends? Which already suggests that there’s a certain market with a little too much interest in the issue.

I think you refer to Hello Project and, assuming you known about it from FW on JournalFen, you know about as much as I do!

    AAAHHHH MONONOKE SITE UP YES.

XP *is really, really, really excited for July*
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 08:28 (UTC)
Is that a rec then? I wouldn't have checked out Bokura no if it wasn't for you and I'm SO glad I did!

Definitely a rec! The 'Bake Neko' storyline was my favorite arc of Ayakashi, so I'm definitely looking forward to watching the follow-up. Ah, if you didn't see that series, eps 9-11 are what you should watch, as Mononoke is a spin-off based on the main character of that arc.

(and you're welcome! though I myself am quite behind on Bokurano, due to my current month-long obsession with watching all of Naruto)

You also might like Dennou Coil!

I second that rec. Awesome series.
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 09:18 (UTC)
    How so?
    Sharon: Claymoresharona1x2 on 7th June 2007 09:22 (UTC)
I like the way they mix the real world and virtual reality. It reminds me a bit of Lain, but without being so confusing. The animation style also appeals to me, as do the characters.
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 09:25 (UTC)
Oh... See, I really like "confusing". And angst. And betrayal. :) Curious about the real/virtual world. I don't know the plot though.
    Sharon: Blood+sharona1x2 on 7th June 2007 09:29 (UTC)
One of the things I like about it is that other than Lain, I can't really compare it to anything else. It's not like any other anime I've watched.

There's a decent description of the show here.
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 09:40 (UTC)
    Sounds interesting, thanks!
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 09:18 (UTC)
    Any particular reason...?

Thirding the rec for Denno Coil~ I haven't watched Lain, but it's an interesting world to learn more about. I'm not sure why I like it so much, but I do ^^; Plus the hacker girl is awesome (i.e., some of the fights are pretty cool XD)
    Williamgenkischuldich on 7th June 2007 14:53 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll try to download it then.
