According to the polls in Animedia, Sebastian and Ciel are currently the first and third most popular anime characters. Lelouch is in second place.

The trouble is, with Lulu and Sebastian holding the top two spots, all the black wigs of that type in Tokyo are sold out. I visited ACOS in Animate and they had nothing.

Apparently, there is some new KSJ merchandise being released on Thursday, including tea and metal charms. If you spend over a certain amount on KSJ items at Animate, I think you get a free teabag. *holds head in hands in shame at knowing this stuff* There will, of course, be an exclusive KSJ goods set at Comiket.

Speaking of Animedia, I took a photograph from the latest issue -- hi-res scans have yet to turn up in the main community, so I figured I'd at least let people see this illustration. 2009 is the year of the cow/ox, if you were wondering.

Finally, I think the latest anime ep means the series is back on track (love Drossel!) and Toboso Yana-sensei wrote a blog post (with illustration) in English here.

In other news:

  • Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes film. Now, I'm pretty sure this film is going to suck. But enough with all the people saying he's not a fighter. He has always being depicted as a man of action in the books. It's clearly written that he's gone up against prizefighters (and he's good enough that they recognise him when they see him again). Canon. Do you knows it?
  • Burglar held captive by ghost (AP). Pretty self-explanatory, right?
