So... as I suspected, I didn't get a single ticket. A nice person behind me helped me out too. Her name was Mio-san and she loved Tezuka, for what it's worth. At ten to, she asked how many tickets I wanted (two) and since she wanted two and the maximum was four, we negotiated that she would deal with the machine and we'd get four tickets. She looked like she knew what she was doing -- at about a minute to, having checked the clock via her keitai, she started hammering that machine, but we didn't succeed.

I've already checked Yahoo Auctions and it makes me really sad how many people must've hammered the machines just so they can sell them at those prices. There's no way I can really afford tickets at those prices, although maybe it'll fall off soon. I should've gone with my instincts and bought after the presell...

Anyway, I have to go. Work party and nomihoudai tonight. Recipe for disaster...?

The people on yahoo aren't people who got them through the machines. They're usually scalpers with connections who work for ticketing companies and such. (Notice how some of them will have almost an entire row of seats? Hmm way more han 4 seats there, and all in a row? Eugh..)

I hadn't looked at the seat locations, just the prices.

Btw, although my instinct is 'don't buy one at those prices' right now, if I were to, how would I do a bank transfer or postal transfer?
