As described on the Tenimyu comm, if you're going tomorrow (err... today), bring a hand towel. Preferably a pink one.

  • My Playstation Best Tension song sung by Ryoma with Nanjirou. They did a really good dance together.
  • Beach volleyball. When I saw Inui holding the ball, it was very clear there was a wire attached, but they made it really obvious when Horio reveal it was on a fishing line. It concluded with Inui's pants being pulled down (he was wearing flesh-coloured pants underneath) quite deliberately. Everything was hidden by the data book though.
  • A ton of TezukaxFuji moments and Golden Pair-touching.
  • There was a whole song devoted to the love of towels. And, at the correct point in the song, you throw your towel in the air and catch it. Awesome. I didn't know about the towel before I went to Yokohama, but all the Japanese fans did! How does such news spread? Luckily, I had a handkerchief which managed to do the job.
  • Yukimura has to make an announcement and (I think) Kirihara tells him to speak more loudly. So he tries, but faints into Sanada's arms (and someone else's, but mainly Sanada).
  • The key Rikkai themes were sung (I really love them) and Niou and Yagyuu have another song with transformations. Apparently there was some funny stuff projected up on the screens, but I was only looking at them and didn't notice. I will never tire of seeing Niou dance with Niou. NEVER.
  • On My Way makes another comeback. Not that it was ever gone.
  • Atobe and Oshitari have prerecorded segments.
  • INFLATABLE CHESTS!! OMG THE CRACK! This deserves a proper explanation, which I will endeavour to do so once it is not 1am.
  • Bane has the biggest package of them all. I mentioned it casually afterwards and kurayamihimitsu was 'omg, I KNOW'. So I didn't imagine it.
  • They all came out in white outfits towards the end, Fuji first. It was called something like 'Top of the Stage' although we think there were more lyrics in English.
  • We went to demachi and SOMEONE looked straight at me and smiled and waved deliberately in my direction and got his friend to do the same just for me (but I couldn't see his friend at all because they were in the bus by them). kurayamihimitsu thinks it was Takuya-kun. I wonder... we didn't have a good viewpoint at all, but it was worth it!

    LJ says that 'OMG' is not in its dictionary. WHAT.

    It is! There is more Rikkai than anything else, I think. Or, perhaps, I paid more attention to Rikkai than anyone else. Certainly Seigaku, Rokkaku and Rikkai are the big three.

    Excellent! *g* That's the sort of thing I like to hear. >D (And yeah, I know what you mean about paying more attention to Rikkai... *laughs*)

    Omg I got this from a friend of mine and I had to comment *---*.
    "On My Way makes another comeback. Not that it was ever gone." It's like Mou hitotsu no chichou from Bleach musicals!

    But! Great report, I'm sad that I'm not in Japan anymore, I would have wanted to see this too. Golden pair touching *---*. SanadaYukimura *---*. Thanks for killing me :D.

    Haha, yeah. I'm not really sorry to see that song again. I love singing along with it (particularly since they initially provided karaoke lyrics).

    Thanks for reading. :)

    Honestly, I liked Rikkaimyu slightly more (more of the three I really like). But the inflating chests were the most incredible crack I've ever seen. I'm in AWE.

    That sounds like it was excellent fun! :D I didn't think the beach scene would ever be included on stage, though. XD There can not be anything PoT/Tenimyu related without crack, I'm convinced of that. It's like a universal law. ^_^

    The way they did the final bit of it was really funny. In the manga, it's a complete accident, but in the myu it was more like 'hmmm... going to just walk over and pull down Inui's trousers.'

    Heee I went to the first show :D I love reading these highlights because there are so many parts I can't remember...

    Most Japanese people carry large handkerchiefs/towels around normaly, but I think that a lot of people brought towels just incase they got sweaty ^^

    hahaha it's that crack-tastic youtube video, isn't it? xD;

    ....but almost all of them were PINK..... it can't just be a coincidence that they all brought pink towels..... and knew what to do with them as soon as the song started....
    chocoxberrychocoxberry on 1st April 2007 14:32 (UTC)
    hmm who knows :0
    i went to the 1st showing so it can't be that their friends told them beforehand...and i don't remember anything with towels iin rikkaimyu....

    lol it's a mystery
    Williamgenkischuldich on 1st April 2007 08:25 (UTC)
    Did you bring a towel...? I wish I'd had a proper one! In any case, I don't think it was an accident. In the merchandise queue, everyone was wearing them. And, before it started, they laid it on the seat so they could pick it up easily.

    So what was the highlight for you?
    chocoxberrychocoxberry on 1st April 2007 14:30 (UTC)
    lol seriously? i wonder where it came from...I can't remember anything with towels happening in Rikkaimyu o_o
    but now that i think about it the person behind me (who's towel fell on my head) had a large pink towel xD;

    heh, my highlight (because i'm a obsessive torishishi fangirl) was when shishido came out and "cut" his hair during a song (i fogot which one..) and ohtori tried to stuff the cut-off hair into his shirt xD;;
    I loved all of it though :) i kinda wish they had more little skit parts because it seemed like they sang a lot this time...
