I went to a concert with my Japanese teacher on Sunday. It was pretty good and I enjoyed myself. Just like in Bleach myu, there was an extra twenty minutes or so of randomness at the end where the audience were encouraged to clap along to a famous classical piece (which was very familiar to me, but I don't know the name), guided by the conductor.

But! She is trying to get me to take the Level 2 JLPT. I can't do that! There's a huge gap between level three and two.

Er... I also suddenly decided I wanted to learn French a few days ago. This shouldn't really be so difficult since my beginning steps involve simply remembering what I studied in school. However, the online resources seem sparse compared to something like, say, Japanese. Perhaps it's because I know what to search for though (I would focus on particles and conjugation).

I liked this lesson.

I still have a vague wish to know Russian too...

Sounds great! But didn't you used to be fluent in both? I really am just trying to learn the sounds for French and the writing system for Russian right now.

Actually, I saw this http://www.drsketchytokyo.com/ advertised in Metropolis, of all places, and thought of you. Would you be interested at all...?

I used to be pretty good at both but now I feel like I can't even put a sentence together. :(

.......That actually looks really fun. are you interested in going?

Yes. But not alone. :P

It's this upcoming Wednesday, if you're up for it?

Sure! I presume you're on summer vacation now? I finish work at two, so we can either meet up with me wearing my work clothes in the early afternoon, or a little before the event at around six (but going all the way back to Musashi Koganei to change doesn't really appeal to me...). Any thoughts?

Meeting up in the early afternoon is fine if it's a pain for you to go all the way back home. Perhaps we can have coffee or something?
Williamgenkischuldich on 17th August 2007 07:36 (UTC)
Sure then! Do you know 100% Chocolate Cafe near Tokyo station? Or perhaps just regular Starbucks...?

Oh! Sort of! I went there one night with Erin and Jamie but we actually walked from somewhere strange.. from another station, so I don't know exactly where it is but if you remind me of the exit I can probably find it. I didn't get to try anything because it had just closed when we got there 8D;; About what time?

I'll have to find a proper sketchbook, too, I only have teeny ones.

Okay, let's meet at the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo station at around 3.00? I will probably be early at that time, but at least I won't be late.

...I need to find mine! I still haven't fully unpacked... Teeny ones are probably okay, actually.

Excellent! Are you going to send the RSVP email? :)
Williamgenkischuldich on 17th August 2007 08:01 (UTC)
Could you do it? I don't have regular access to my inbox since I'm at a net cafe.
