hello, posting from mobile at big sight.
little disappointing. not much here this year and way more crowded.
highlander - set in near future
colin macleod - shun oguri
marcus octavius - yamadera kouichi
dahlia - paku romi
blade of the immortal
sekitomo stars, miki appears.
got yaoi tissues. saw soul eater pv. it's looking bad for vuw. full
report inc capital letters to come.

The Wedge Holdings booth was very Velvet Underworld - less. But it *was* full of scary psychadelic bears of some sort. ^_^()

Hope you managed to have a good time! I knew it would be crowded but...well, I expected there to at least be room to move! Ready to dive back in tomorrow and hopefully re-emerge victoriously having seen the Seiyuu event! (i just hope that taking first train out there and waiting for 4 hours is rewarded with the tickets that I covet so dearly!)

Thanks for all of your info about the Anime Fair - I look forward to reading about your experience!

Wait, wait, what? ... how is Seki going to pull off Manji's voice?!

I mean, man, I love Seki, but ... I don't foresee this working well ... I've heard Seki in a lot of stuff, and I don't think I've ever heard him use a voice that would be suitable for Manji ...

I dunno. I don't know BotI and I probably couldn't romanise the character names. All I can say is that his name was at the top of the list.

According to ANN Seki is voicing Manji ... =/ ... Well, BotI is an incredibly awesome manga, so you should check it out, even if the anime turns out subpar. Manji is .. a late-twenty-something murderer. Gruff, buff, antisocial loner to the max. (Asshole much.) I don't think I've ever heard Seki voice a character like that. I mean, maybe the awkward bits, 'cause Manji can be awkward often (social skills = 0), but I think just about every character I've heard Seki voice has been way higher-pitched than anything I've thought of for Manji, and, well, Seki's voice has that certain nasal whiny quality that will not fit Manji at all. Even though I love it when he uses it for his other characters. It's Just. Not. Yeah. (Manji is my favorite character in that series.)

On the other hand, if he does pull it off convincingly, I will be quite impressed with him. ^^

Manji is unfortunately quite sane, considering, well, considering the many many many things he could quite legitimately claim as reasons to go insane. It's rather amusing.

Seriously... thinking of a slow-moving game with a definite ending, chapters that could be posted like 'episodes' and ability to take time off for school work. People would have probably two characters, an executioner and demon murderer and... yeah. Yeah I did think about this today.
