I did a little bit of poking around on 2ch (yes, yes, I know) and the rumours are that the Kuroshitsuji anime will be shown on TBS and affiliates (Geass, Gundam 00, Death Note...), with the animation handled by A-1 Pictures (Persona, Ookiku Furikabutte). Who knows? Do not doubt the powers of otaku... they noticed that Kuroshitsuji was listed as an anime in the next issue box of Animedia. That is some dedication right there.

In other news, I went to training at the weekend and went straight to a party where I felt completely homicidal. Nothing wrong with the party, just being around "normal" people all day. Anyway, the friend in question who was holding the party loves to cook and bake cakes. He's laid on this amazing American-style party, complete with home-cooked nachos, pasta, artichoke heart soup, Key Lime pie, two different kinds of cheesecake, Black Forest gateau... Yeah, it was good.

Afterwards, he let us take what we wanted from a pile of books that he was going to take to a bookshop otherwise. I actually found some books that I was days away from ordering online! I found the Golden Compass, Stephen King's On Writing, Neverwhere, and a copy of Good Omens. I read that last one years ago because I'd scared myself watching The Omen on TV (I was around 12/13) and needed something to take my mind off it. My copy is back in the UK... somewhere. All in all, I got so many English-language books that I needed two reinforced carrier bags to carry them all.

The next day, I went back for Dungeons and Dragons and to eat leftover cake. Then I headed to aionwatha's place for anime and pizza. We ordered Pizza Hut because... um... Geass? She showed me the first two eps of Monochrome Factor and three eps of Chi's Sweet Home. I've had the theme song in my head all day.
