So, like everyone else, I'm going to be heading to Lawsons to see if I can get Shitenhouji Tenimyu tickets. Increasingly, I'm feeling embarrassed about the whole thing.

This time, I'm going for tickets in a city other than Tokyo (or Osaka, for that matter). I had an amazing time in Niigata last Tenimyu, and it seems like a great way to see some new cities. I'm inclined to choose Shizuoka simply because it should be a three day weekend due to a national holiday. However, there's also Nagoya and Kanazawa to consider as they seem close enough that a two-day weekend wouldn't really be a drawback. Anyone got any opinions on this?

Some stuff from Moonphase:
  • Viper's Creed. Stars (amongst others) Fukuyama Jun, Minagawa Junko and Kaida Yuki.
  • Senjou no Valkyria. Animation by A-1 Pictures. The woman's armor looks suspiciously like maid fetish gear.[*]
  • White Album. Will feature Paku Romi.
  • Taisho Yakyuu Musume. Translates to "Taisho Baseball Girls", so WHO KNOWS what this could be about?

[*]My apologies to anyone who finds this blog based on the keywords in this sentence. ;)

I have tried desperately in both mail-list advanced sale and Pia ticket advanced sale for a Nagoya ticket, but failed Y___Y
I guess Nagoya show is kindda senshuuraku for 5thgen, so.....
I will have to try another city tomorrow *sigh*

Good luck on your side as well....

Yeah, same. Are you going for Nagoya or another city tomorrow? I've pretty much decided I'm going to Shizuoka.

I want Nagoya, but it seems too tough........ And I will not be in Japan during Osaka or Shizuoka. So my best bet is probably Kanazawa kana....
The only thing I hate about that place is that there's no direct Shinkansen, i.e. would be a tough trip from Tokyo *sigh*

Are you sure? I'd always heard it was a popular second home location for Tokyo people. There must be an overnight bus service at the very least. Mind you, even non-Shinkansen trains can be good. I went on the Moonlight Echigo to Niigata and it was fine.

    are you thinking of Karuizawa?

and I think Sarah (xelloss_poo) may have an extra Shizuoka ticket if you need.

I don't know... it's what I'd heard when I was researching the Takatori household (WK), who are said to have a second home there.

I got two tickets for Shizuoka today, so I'm okay. :)
