Oh hey, a drunk LJ post. How about that, eh?
Truth to tell, I found a couple of bottles of mead in my local (up-market) supermarket and so bought them immediately. Mead is so, so, so difficult to find in Japan.
I had a pretty eventful day on Sunday. Not only did I get all the fics for Weiss Day, I saw the new new NEW Sherlock Holmes film. I bet everyone's so jealous how quick it came out here compared the States or wherever. Joking aside, I've been wanting to see it for years... no wait, almost THREE months. I said it on Twitter, but I'll say it again... I could watch a whole two hours of Watson and Holmes talking at each other. I've always thought of the books as slashable, but this was more text than subtext. Dare I hope (suspect) that thanks to the movie slashing those two is now moderately respectable?
Oh, I also went firewalking in the mountains with yamabushi. Didn't hurt at all, fire was mostly burned out. SpamfromJapan post to follow soon, I imagine. Trying to put it together tonight, but we will see how successful that is...!
