Trailer for Thundercats from Cartoon Network. Speaking of which, I advise you to give a quick look at the first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Most people agree that it's a special kind of crack that they can't stop watching even though they don't know why.

Yesterday, I met with
In the evening, I went to see Tou no Ue no Rapunzel 3D ("Tangled") in Shinjuku Wald9, one of the few places showing the subbed version. I had originally only been interested by the high quality of the 3D in the trailer, but I was amazed by the whole thing. They had great character psychology, fantastic dialogue and memorable songs. "Mother Knows Best" and "I’ve Got A Dream" were my favourites, the latter being quite Monty Pythonesque.
As someone who hates Disney films, I say that if you like going to the cinema, you have to see this film!
I was looking through film listings and saw an interesting-looking poster for one called Angel Wars, which I'd never heard of before. When I went to the official site, it was obvious why. It's called Sucker Punch in English. I laughed at first because all the reviewers have savaged it. But, as more friends from LJ and FB post about it, it turns out there's a sharp divide between critics and audience. I may go and see this "Angel Wars" (April 15th). Also out soon are GANTZ: Perfect Answer (April 23rd), Onigamiden (April 29th), Toufu Kozou ("Little Tofu Boy", April 29th), Scott Pilgrim VS Jaaku na Moto-Kare Gundan (April 29th), Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo (May 7th), Black Swan (May 11th) and Ooki-Ke no Tanoshii Ryokou: Shinkon Jigoku Hen ("The Ooki Family's Fun Holiday: Honeymoon in Hell", May 14th).
I went for a health check-up today because it's part of my contract for next year, then went to Inokashira Park in Kichijouji for the cherry blossom.

^^ Dunno if the haiku makes sense, but I think you can get the meaning easily...? I took a lot of pictures and I guess I'll start work on a blog post tomorrow. I was concentrating on getting more unusual shots of sakura this year and people out enjoying themselves. Assuming it comes out okay, there should be a nice one of a crow resting amongst the petals.
